- CBT-1 केवल Screening के लिए है: CBT-1 के अंकों का उपयोग केवल CBT-2 के लिए उम्मीदवारों को शॉर्टलिस्ट करने हेतु किया जाता है।
- Final Merit List केवल CBT-2 के अंकों के आधार पर बनती है: अंतिम चयन और मेरिट सूची CBT-2 में प्राप्त अंकों के आधार पर ही तैयार की जाती है।
- Typing Test और CBAT Qualifying Nature का होता है: टाइपिंग स्किल टेस्ट तथा कंप्यूटर आधारित एप्टीट्यूड टेस्ट (Psycho Test) केवल अहर्ता (क्वालिफाइंग) प्रकृति के होते हैं, इनके अंक फाइनल मेरिट में नहीं जुड़ते।
- दोनों CBT में 1/3 Negative Marking है: CBT-1 एवं CBT-2 दोनों में प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर के लिए 1/3 अंक की कटौती की जाती है।
- पद के अनुसार Typing Test या CBAT लागू होता है: स्टेशन मास्टर के लिए CBAT और सीनियर क्लर्क / जूनियर एकाउंट्स असिस्टेंट के लिए टाइपिंग टेस्ट अनिवार्य है; गुड्स ट्रेन मैनेजर और CCTS के लिए यह लागू नहीं होता।
