Understanding job profiles, administrative powers, secretariat hierarchy, and posting departments in Uttar Pradesh.
The Samiksha Adhikari (Review Officer - RO) and Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari (Assistant Review Officer - ARO) represent the administrative backbone of the Uttar Pradesh Civil Secretariat (U.P. Shasan Sachivalaya), the State Public Service Commission (UPPSC), and the Board of Revenue (Rajasva Parishad). Officers recruited through this gateway manage critical legislative, executive, and revenue policymaking files:

5. Common Application Mistakes & Scrutiny Rejection Traps
Preventing automated cancellation of candidature during commission document verification.
- Category Certificate Validity: Candidates claiming OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) or EWS reservation benefits must possess valid income/caste certificates issued within the financial year 2026-27 (or as prescribed in the notification) by a competent UP revenue authority.
- Post Preference Selection: Ensure you accurately mark your educational qualifications (e.g. B.Com for Accounts posts, 'O' Level for ARO) in the application portal; otherwise, your candidature will be restricted solely to general Samiksha Adhikari vacancies.
- Photograph & Signature Format: Upload high-resolution photographs with 70% facial coverage and white background. Blurry signatures or inverted scans will cause rejection during stage-1 e-admit card generation.
- Application Fee Reconciliation: In case fee deduction occurs without status confirmation, verify payment via the SBI MOPS reconciliation link on the UPPSC portal within 24 hours.
